I. Simon’s review published on Letterboxd:
The kind of ambitious, sincere*, unconventional, and weird vision that boosts your faith in the future of studio filmmaking in spite of how dire it is looking to be. Also the most based way of ending a long-standing relationship between a filmmaker and a major studio since THE LONE RANGER.
*Don’t get how anyone can watch that farewell scene right before the end and then call this “emotionally hollow” lol. Nolan is 100% an emotionally warm filmmaker; just in his own unique way.
