I really did not know what to expect. The only thing I knew about it was the high praise it was receiving, so I knew I had to get out to see it when the opportunity came.
I love saying this; I have never seen a film like this before. It's a truly refreshing and wholly entertaining film that simply unravels and shocks and makes you laugh, terrified, worried, and hold your breath. The beats in this hit so hard. The midpoint turn is so great especially. Really well done. You laugh so much but it turns serious so quick you don't even notice the tone shift. It seems effortlessly entertaining. Instantly you are attracted to these (a bit shady) characters and what's happening is just like nothing I've seen before it's so eye-catching. Of course that's the work of the master-craft filmmakers.
I feel really good about this and want to see it again.
