amir syarif siregar’s review published on Letterboxd:
A compellingly cruel Rosamund Pike outshines an otherwise middling 'I Care a Lot.' The set-up is pretty intriguing but writer-director J Blakeson doesn't quite excel at this whole dark-comedy-satire-cum-wacky-violent-thriller thing. It's a delicate balance, something The Coen Brothers have perfected but few others can truly pull off. Pike's performance is excellent as she wonderfully captures the darkly humorous aspects of the storyline. It could have been even better had Blakeson taken things to a greater extreme, but 'I Care a Lot' is still quite an enjoyable ride.
