amir syarif siregar’s review published on Letterboxd:
With a handful of great chase sequences that surely will make you squirm (and ummm… scream) and some awesome brutal kills with more body counts, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (aka Radio Silence)’s Scream VI has everything every whiny snowflake film nerds with Letterboxd accounts instead of personalities could dream of from the series. As a sequel of a self-aware requel, the movie still takes on the same plot route - often feels like a rehash of past ideas. Still pretty exciting though, especially because of Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega’s solid performances and Radio Silence’s tight direction.
