Ribhu Dasgupta's 'The Girl on the Train' is a tonally confused mess that sets its Indian-centric cast deep in the heart of London and tries to inject some originality into the already familiar story - Bollywood style. The writing and dialogue are absolutely abysmal. And while the actors do the best they can with what they are given, the performances are affected. Parineeti Chopra is a capable leading lady, but at times struggles to deliver a winning performance. This is one train you definitely shouldn't ride.
