Siraris’s review published on Letterboxd:
I'm someone who appreciates all kinds of film, and I have no shame in declaring that this is one of my favorite films of all time. In terms of acting, cinematography, script, story, or any other metric, this film doesn't necessarily excel in any area. For some reason, it grips me and touches me on a deeply emotional level. Perhaps it's my love of cooking and food, or the stellar soundtrack (which borrows from the film Life as a House), or the chemistry between Eckhart and Zeta-Jones and Breslin, but I could watch this film over and over again until the end of time.
I would offer that while No Reservations is classified as a "Chick Flick", it approaches the genre with a class and style that simply sets it apart from the rest.
