One Day ★★½

There are a number of choreographed tearjerker scenes but they don't seem to belong to the people experiencing them. Yoon-ki needs really good actors to make his stuff work. Chun Woo-Hee is weak, but probably because of the script. Her scene going to the barber shop is my favorite, though. Seems like the only scene with authentic vulnerability, where you enter the character's otherworld. Definitely has its moments but this a second disappointment from Yoon-ki.
The letterboxd synopsis is misleading.
