Took me several attempts, but I'm glad I made it to the end. The last action sequence is nuts. You have to think: How did they film that? How are they doing this? And Ok-bin Kim. My gosh. There are parts of the film that are bad, and she suffers for it, but when she gets to cut loose, or calmly boil inside, she crushes it. She's not quite Charlize Theron, Atomic Blonde, but close.
I understand casting Sung Joon is fan service, but he brings the film down. Everything about him and his story arc is nauseating (and makes Ok-bin look bad). Get behind Ryan Gosling, pal.
