There's something fishy in Imboca! The man behind "Re-Animator", "From Beyond", "Dolls", "Fortress" and "Castle Freak"... damn, what a great portfolio!
It also ends with "Dagon". Not with a big bang, but it's not the same caliber. The beginning of the 2000s was CGI a toy film industry loved fumble with instead of the good old craft. "Dagon" is a good example of how horrible it can look and completely ruin a fantastic tale, or two short stories from H. P. Lovecraft. A shame, but it’s a low budget film. Not everything is ruined, the film still contains quite cool special effects and a good story with dark atmosphere. The acting is not worth mentioning anything about.
