The Flesh and the Fiends

The Flesh and the Fiends ★★★★

Film #2 of Hooptober X

A man could become a millionaire at this game.

When a film flawlessly balances casting, storyline, and directing, it's a cinematic treat. The cinematography captures the essence of the era, which is enhanced by outstanding music and performances.

Peter Cushing is perfect as the detached man of science with an unerring need for exquisite specimens, while Donald Pleasence and George Rose shine with their morally questionable exploits.

As his inner desire to murder gradually erupts from his huge eyes, which look at the victim while meeting the sight of joy, Donald Pleasence does incredibly well as a disgusting Irish lower-class body-snatcher!

A must-see film for any fans.
