Are you into any sort of banging?
Ken Russell, snakes, vampires, dragons, dungeons, Romans, and the presence of young Hugh Grant and Peter Capaldi with bagpipes and hand grenades. With its good 90 minutes, it's highly comical, occasionally bordering on silly in a confusingly slow pace, describes the film's start best as it develops and gathers momentum as it progresses towards the end and delivers it to the fullest.
Definitely a fun first watch for this year's HoopTober, but I don't think I'll rewatch it anytime soon, then there is a probability that The Devils or Altered States will come into the machine if I'm in the mood for a Ken Russell film.
