F: Once again our streaming services fool us with the genre. This one was put under horror, straight up and after watching about half I looked it up on IMDB and they did not classify it as such. I would agree.
It was a decent detective story I guess, but nothing new under the sun. We once again see Hemlock Grove-guy, but he was kind of stiff. I almost fell asleep a couple of times, so that's probably not great. 2 stars.
J: When will streaming services learn that just because something has vampires in it it's not a horror movie? I got pretty disappointed as I was led to believe this was something that it wasn't.
I guess the quasi-steampunkyness of the world was quite cool, but it was barely even there. Go it fully or don't do it at all!
Hemlock Grove-guy reminded me a bit of Eugene Tooms, a bit too creepy in his demeanor. But nothing wrong with that!
The story was nothing too special. 2 stars.
