Highest Rated of each Language on Letterboxd (Almost)

This list is going of the ISO 639-1 language specification, which appears to be what Letterboxd uses.

In more well known languages, I choose the highest rated film which prominently features that language. For more exotic languages, information about how prominently the language is used is not always easy to find - so I'm left to judge based on what is available, but I will always attempt to pick the highest rated film which uses the language prominently (if possible).

To say a language Y is prominent, would mean you could say "X is a Y language film" without fear of contradiction. For sufficiently exotic languages, I simply have to choose a film that merely contains the language - for…
