I love this movie so much. It brings me warmth and comfort. It is so much fun to watch, I mean from a sitting down and watching it experience and I mean that entirely from a visual perspective that could be detached from the film as a whole. The lighting, the coloring, the camera movement, the set decoration, and just the sheer rendering of the final animation is all so gorgeous. Plus the film is funny, probably has the most…

    Last warning for spoilers.

Very watchable, but it often felt soulless and like it missed the mark. Yeah it is cool that all the villains are back, but none of them ever get a chance to shine. The Spider-Man movies are often known for their great villains, so pulling in all of the old ones should be a slam dunk, but it isn't. I'd say, with the exception of Electro, each of the villains didn't have a reason to come…

Honestly that first hour is so good and captivating. I don’t think the last 40 is as good. I do love the way that this film is able to actualize and realize it’s world in such an effective and believable way. The sets, the costumes, the score, and the effects just all make Oz so real and captivating. Also I liked the songs way more this time! How did “Gone with the Wind” best this for Best Picture???

Gave it a more proper chance this time by watching it all in one go! God this film is absolutely gorgeous; the leads are gorgeous, the sets are gorgeous, the lighting is gorgeous, the score is gorgeous, and I love the misty camera work. I think after the big scene in the coastal house it slows down a lot, but damn can Hitch make a picture!

For some reason I decided to start watching this film at like 2 AM since I couldn't sleep. I saw it was on Disney+ and I saw it had the director's commentary, so then I watched it. I have no idea why I thought watching this horrible film was a good idea at all. The main perk is that Jon Favreau was talking basically the entire time so I didn't have to see it. I took some extensive notes on…

So what did I think? It was much better than I expected it to be. The film is not a masterpiece, but it isn't horrible. Let's talk about the bad first. I believe that some moments could have been removed or better edited. There are just jumps that happen, the pacing goes very fast. It isn't difficult to follow, just muddled. Those include the dream sequences, including the one with The Flash warping through time. I disliked the shortness and…
