Sean Q.’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is an amazing film. It has this fulfilling and satisfied feeling to it. Similar to Star Wars (the film), Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and Shawshank Redemption. Now it isn't those films in most other respects, besides how you feel watching it. Happy and it feels right. This is an amazing film that is well acted, characterized, shot and made. The film making is on full display with this film. From its use of shadows, camera positions and movements to scoring that help push the narrative. I believe the film is near perfect, minus feeling a tad long and rushed at the end. However everything is wrapped up nicely and the ending is very fun to see. The action is done extremely well by being engaging to watch and satisfying to see play out. The screenplay is well done, and the how everyone interacts is enjoyable. Revisiting this classic was a joy, and I thoroughly enjoyed Harrison Ford as Indy.
PS: The theme for Indy and Marian starts similarly to the theme for Han and Leia.
