Window Horses: The Poetic Persian Epiphany of Rosie Ming ★★★★½

It's hard to describe this movie but it really worked for me. It's something special when essentially stick figures make you cry. It was emotionally true and easy to relate to even though my life is very different. It's about those wounds of childhood that no matter their source are so hard to forgive. It's about art and poetry and language and how it can heal. It's just a beautiful, unique film.
