hate to be a killjoy but this didn't work for me the way it did for other people. it felt like it was trying to do too much at once, and i'd have preferred it focus on fewer things or cover them more deeply. i hate this film. i hate it so much. there are some good moments spaced out in between the inexplicable and unnecessary return of palpatine, the hardcore reylo and the decision to give POE DAMERON a GIRLFRIEND because they literally hate finnpoe that much. like. they gave us the worst movie possible. they did that.
