    Koko: A Talking Gorilla

Film Lads Discord Weekly Film Club #9

I'm not that into documentaries, but I ended up enjoying this way more than anticipated. I loved the simplicity of it all. Hanging out with Koko and learning how her mind works was enough to keep me hooked. The chemistry between Koko and Penny was just as fascinating, quite the unorthodox mother/daughter relationship but cute all the same. Leaves the viewer with a lot of interesting questions they can ponder about, some of those questions harder to answer than others.

    Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

This may be an odd thing to say considering this movie has such a high rating on this website, but I feel a bit biased when it comes to how much I enjoyed Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. I say biased because this movie is far from flawless yet I enjoyed it so much because Spider-Man has been my favorite superhero ever since I was a little kid (I know many other people love him too I am not special in…
