Hello there! I'm glad to host the second horror hunt of 2022!
Hopefully these prompts will be enjoyable for all, but if you'd like to skip any of the prompts you may simply replace it with an additional spin of the wheel I made for prompt #5! And don't forget to tag all your lists and reviews with "February Horror 2022" so we can easily keep up with each other's work! Now then, let's get to it!

1. Michelle hosted the last horror hunt. Therefore we will now watch a horror film from her My Favorite Movies of All Time-list.
2. Today is Groundhog Day. That of course makes me think of that film where Bill Murray is trapped in a horrible time loop. Watch a horror film that features a time loop. A helpful list with some examples.
3. I’m a Swede! We are a contentious bunch. Now go watch a Swedish horror film before I decide to make an enemy out of you!
4. Alice Cooper’s 74th birthday is today! Celebrate this by watching a horror film with some sort of connection to Mr. Cooper (soundtrack, acting role, etc.).
5. Now it’s time to spin The Wheel of Horrors… And Years! Just go watch a horror film from whatever year you land on.
6. And now it’s time for an actor highlight! Watch a horror film starring Tony Todd.
7. And let’s get an actress highlight in there as well. Watch a horror film starring Katharine Isabelle.
8. And I’ll just throw in a director highlight before I move on. Watch a horror film directed by Lucio Fulci.
9. I’ve been enjoying horror musicals in recent years. Watch a horror musical so that you can share my passion.
10. These are my cats, you may remember them from the last time I hosted the horror hunt. They have grown quite a bit since then. Watch a coming-of-age horror film to celebrate their wondrous growth!
11. Isn’t it nice to make your way through a long horror franchise? Watch a horror film from any horror franchise (5 films or more) where you haven’t seen every entry yet.
12. To play off the last prompt, rewatch a film from any horror franchise (5 films or more) that you’ve finished and wish to revisit. If you haven’t finished any horror franchise of that length, then you must watch a horror film with a 2.5 average rating or lower on Letterboxd.
13. I live in the woods. Peaceful, but it is also a very common hiding place for murderous horror villains. Avoid any such baddies by watching a horror film set in a city.
14. Happy Valentine’s Day! Watch a horror film where a romantic couple plays a central role.
15. I really need to get through my physical collection one of these days.. Help me out by watching any horror film from My Physical Film Collection!
16. The kids are down with the devil these days, they love the fucking devil! Watch a horror film that features Satan (Lucifer, Beelzebub etc etc...).
17. Now for a little chain reaction. Watch a horror film that came out in the same year as your pick for #16.
18. And now you must watch a horror film that has the same runtime as your pick for #17.
19. And now watch a horror film that stars an actor from your pick for #18.
20. And with that out of the way, it is now time for a couple of this-or-that prompts. If you have a pet, you must watch a serial killer horror film. If you don't have a pet, you must watch an animal horror film.
21. If you grew up in a large city (a population of 300,000 or more) you must watch a horror film about hillbillies, rednecks etc. If you grew up in a place with less than 300,000 inhabitants you must watch a horror film that plays out in a skyscraper.
22. If you have a driver's license you must watch a horror film where someone is out on a hike or similar outdoors adventure. If you don't have a driver's license you must watch a horror film about a killer vehicle.
23. I've made it my goal for this year to get through some of the horror films starring the legendary El Santo. Watch one of the many horror films he starred in! List of films here (some of these may be hard to find but the more popular ones should be available on Youtube at the very least).
24. I would also like to get through some more Troma films this year. Watch a horror film produced by Troma Entertainment. List of Troma films here
25. I'm a literature student. So… Uh… Watch a horror film based on a book. It's that simple.
26. I do have a special interest in digital literature though. Watch a horror film that deals with the internet in any shape or form. A helpful list with some examples
27. The threat of climate change and global warming is a hot topic these days. Watch an ecological horror film to keep yourself updated. A helpful list with some examples
