Just finished the book (well, Dune, Maud'id, and The Prophet) last night, can't seem to figure out how to link that.

Anyway, having just finished the book, I LOVED this. Hans Zimmer truly outsold with the soundtrack, the costume designs were incredible, casting was excellent, cinematography was incredible. I loved everything about this. It was so well done!!!!! I dont have any complaints. So good. So well done.

Best Craig!Bond movie. And by that I mean the one thats easiest to enjoy.

I dont mean to be contrary when I say this is better than Skyfall. To a degree, that would indeed be a lie. But I dont really- usually- care about how "good" a movie is according to critics or whomever, rather, a movie's rewatchability. I can't rewatch Skyfall hardly ever because it is so spectacular in the way it hurts Bond. Sure, hes kinda sleazy, but…

Yeah I killed fran but I guess I didn't. So what, I get arson for the building, maybe a couple other charges, and with a good lawyer (WHICH I HAVE) I'll be out in no time. And then you'll see just how much hell I can bring down on your life you vicious little bitch.

    Anyway Benoit Blanc comfort character.

I had read about 4 or 5 chapters of the book and the movie was totally different than those few chapters. I kinda get it though.

Pretty fun. Its light stuff. Easy to watch- although some moments of shaky cam were... stupid. Its not super deep in the way the Godfather is deep, but like. No one's expecting it to be. Its fun and light and interesting. Nice and short.

I'm a sucker Tom Holland and he looked *good*. Idk…

Overall, goofy and a bit of fun.

I really liked the core characters- Frank, Lilly, and McGregor. (Sidenote: who tf names their child mcgregor?? like, that's a last name, brits.) The reveal of Frank actually being a Conquistador was super dope and I didnt expect that. The electric guitar behind it was jarring and unfitting of the story, though, so that wasn't as fun.

The romance was... cute. I did enjoy it. I dont love that, for the sake of…

Good for her. And by her I mean Andy.

The only character who sees potential in Andy and then fucking helps her is Nigel. Emily also, but its more she doesn't want to lose her job so she tells Andy how to do hers.

Andy is at first a very cool person, someone I'd want to hang out with. And honestly, while being a close friend of hers would suck, it wouldn't be shit? Be understanding of her shit schedule…

    Captain America: Civil War

Pals, I hate this movie and almost EVERYTHING about it. The movie, the era, the motivation. This movie hurts and it sucks.

This movie is just about grief. Ok, not "just". But a lot of motivation in this movie is grief. Guilt. Regret. It was bound to have a rough landing.

Tony really is an asshole in this movie. And I understand to a degree his reasons for being so, but it doesn't make it any easier or nicer. It…
