sometimes fun production design and costumes are not enough when there is so much dead air in a movie

i guess i commend it for tackling this subject but i don’t think the writing or any of the performances were good and the end was not actually thematically satisfying for me

the more i think about it the more i fucking hate this movie

DEEPLY, unequivocally, the worst movie i have ever seen!
its worldview is baffling, offensive, and stupid in a way that only an old white man could believe in it while simultaneously thinking he’s creating a feminist masterpiece. i don’t think i can remember ever getting such intense second-hand embarrassment during a movie that i had to cover my eyes!! it’s amazing
