SnowboardJunkie’s review published on Letterboxd:
Swallow could easily be taken at face value for its rich female empowerment message. And you wouldn’t be wrong or faulted for stopping there. But if you allow it to ruminate there’s something stronger lurking underneath that refuses to be kept by another. That won’t allow a human being to be ruled by someone elses fears. That must be set free. Even if freedom is a scary thing to someone who’s never known it.
Cinematography : Her career appears to have only just begun to take off but Katelin Arizmend is clearly on the rise after the haunting imagery here.
Country of Origin : U.S.
Greatest Strength : A picture is worth a thousand words.
