Savannah Oakes’s review published on Letterboxd:
This show raised me. Feel very alive right now.
Despite this, obviously major problems--or at least a reminder of some of the major problems of the show. I forget how white and not-gay the show is. They tried, at least with the gay.
Also I forgot how problematic Rory is. I mean they all are but cheating is my pet peeve and that all just feels very gross to me. Like the show runners literally rehashed a plot from the show that almost everyone universally acknowledges as the low point of the show. Also her path in general is worrisome but like white girls, am I right?
That whole musical episode made me want to die. I love you Sutton but why was this a thing?
also PARIS IS GAY!! SHE'S GAYER THAN THE YEAR IS LONG!!!!
