An exhausting, overly long cartoon with NO stakes, consequences (or apparently police) to be found anywhere...
What started as a grounded, well structured revenge story has become an outlandish parody of itself that exists only to try and one up itself with every sequel, completely forgetting why we cared about the character in the first place.
It's truly a crime that these films have become what they have, as this is arguably one of the greatest looking action films EVER…
Well...it DID have a vampire and bikinis...also a beach, 1/2 a star for being factual at least. Woof.
X-Men: Apocalypse ignores vital plot points (including character deaths) from the previous film which was directed and written by the same jerks who made this one. It also has no concept of time, storytelling or what makes something interesting.
