With this film, I felt as if I went on an emotional journey.
Waititi’s style was ever present within this film and was something I really enjoyed. The sharp, adrift almost awkward humour translated very well into JoJo Rabbit. Seeing Nazi Germany through the eyes of an impressionable child was a fantastic opportunity for this style to flourish.
