Blindspotting ★★★★½

This movie hit like a ton of bricks. “Blindspotting” succeeds by taking a more straightforward approach about the struggles of living in the slums of Oakland and the race relations that are mixed within.

I absolutely loved this film. Out of the race related films “Blackkklansman and Sorry To Bother You” this is layed over a more serious tone than satirical. The performances are top notch. The films narrative is not the captivating part (it is good), but it is the struggles the characters are facing throughout.

The concept of blindspotting is actually quite intriguing too. The movie has some scenes that hit hard and only provide more discourse to the racial profiling that happens almost daily. Man this is a super important movie
