That was brilliant. The acting, the direction, the music. Everything. It was wonderfully tense, emotional, fun, sometimes even funny and indefinitely entertaining. While watching this it felt as if you were watching a movie made by Tarantino but with a lot more heart. I felt for the characters and I hated some. The cinematography was beautiful.
I could go on rambling about this movie for a while but that won't do you ( the reader ) any good. Just watch this movie. It's FANTASTIC!
I'm sorry and I know this review is going to anger a lot of people but...
I really did not think of this as a good movie. Maybe it's because I haven't seen enough horror movies or because I had previously seen a great Woody Allen film but I thought this movie was bad.
Sure it works on the whole meta level. I get that. It's cool I guess that it's a horror movie which constantly references other horror movies…
