make your own future. make your own past. it’s all right now
Gives each character their backstory and motives for joining the team. Maybe the greatest comic book movie of all time. The Dark Knight trilogy is obviously hard to top, but MoS, BvS, & The Snyder Cut feel closer to graphic novels than anything we’ve seen before.
I’m completely blown away. The movie left me in tears. It’s uplifting and will be inspirational to the next generation of filmmakers. I’m content with what we got, I still don’t think it’s necessary to #RestoreTheSnyderVerse. Of course I’d love to see it, but I’m not holding my breath. This movie was all I could ever ask for, and everything I wanted it to be.
“burdened by a secret on top of grief”
“there’s no us without him”
*I’ll talk more about it after I’ve had time to process it and on rewatches and also once everyone else has had the chance to see it
