    Godzilla vs. Kong

if we really think about it both kong and godzilla are the victims here and are exploited by the corporation :(

  • Wild

this film made me want to go on a hike across the country

  • Brooklyn

loved the main character a lot. maybe it's even my favorite saoirse performance of all time. the relationship between eilis and her homeland was very interesting and unique to me, same with her relationship with her family.
also, the romance part of this film was so sincere and kind (talking about new york romance). and the costume design here was great as well.

  • Moxie

the first hour of it is like... ok, decent and watchable. it makes sense and all that. but closer to the midpoint vivian gets annoying, and it's clear that the movie lacks from making her the main character instead of lucy or even claudia. one of these two being the lead would've added more depth to the film's message but instead, both were heavily sidelined

maybe if the dragon didn’t look like elsa and awkwafina at the same time...

  • Blade Runner 2049

    Blade Runner 2049

i wish i watched this film when it came out instead of waiting for so long to watch it. my opinion on this film would change drastically if i got a chance to watch it on a big screen and not on a small laptop screen. but a good movie nevertheless, bonus points for ana de armas

    The Handmaiden

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

the scene where hideko and sookee destroy the old man's library is probably one of the most powerful scenes in the history of world's cinema

  • Before I Fall

    Before I Fall

not as bad as i thought it would be. the book kind of changed my entire life when i was like 15, so i think my judgement can be clouded by that

  • Rafiki

a very vibrant and colorful movie that feels hopeful too. the plot might be weak at times, but still, the film is put together perfectly. bonus point for dealing with serious topics without overwhelming the viewer.
