This movie does a very weird thing in that it ... tries to rehabilitate Billy Loomis (Skeet Ulrich), kinda? Like, we learn that one of the new characters is Loomis's daughter, and that she's crazy (she's literally seeing him in visions) and on anti-psychotic meds. But by film's end, he's, um, beatifically standing over her like a Force Ghost from the Star Wars series teaching her how to find her inner strength by viciously stabbing someone to death? I mean, don't get me wrong, she's using his stabbing powers for good! But it was very weird.
Also weird is the ONCE UPON A TIME ... IN HOLLYWOOD replay. But that's maybe a discussion for another time.
Anyway: I mostly liked it! Full review here.
