In the Mood for Love

In the Mood for Love ★★½

This is what I’ll say- I almost don’t want to call this a film, because it steers closer to a series of beautiful vignettes, like you would see in a museum, and akin to my absolute lust for the three act structure, I would have enjoyed it more that way.

It was so beautiful, and every shot was art, which came at the cost of story, but I also loved that it was all so lovely, because  I believe  everything on film should be beautiful because I have to live in the regular world every day, so I’d prefer  to see it’s beautiful reflection.

I really didn’t like the editing, because i really desire a strong central plot- maybe what took me away from it was the writing.

It was lovely, but long.
