  Seeing this show with my Ukrainian wife (i’m Swedish) was quite a roller-coster of emotions. To experience the raw realism of how the Soviet functioned and still functions in post-soviet countries was sad but uplifting for my wife. Sad because the system is still highly present in her country, but uplifting because it’s always relieving when truth is portrayed on TV.

  May we strive to live in light to avoid getting paid by the consequences of lies.
