77 For the majority of its run this tired sequel just retreads plot elements of the first two movies, but without the guiding directorial hand and storytelling knack of James Cameron. The action scenes actually grow tiresome and the humor is corny. It’s all almost redeemed by a stunning conclusion in which the heroes do not save the day and Judgment Day finally happens, which at least guarantees they can’t recycle the same “prevent the apocalypse” plot they’ve been using for three movies now…
