it's a monster movie made after the 1950's/60's boom and before the 80's semi revived it. You know what kind of movie this is and I only watched it because it was on tubi and elvira was there.
The greatest asset to this movie is its dry as hell sense of humor. Modern b-movie parody movies will go over the top crazy, which is fine, but to see an early example like this with a much more mundane and wittier tone is pretty refreshing.
"Detective surely you can give our viewers some hope that soon this will be over and the streets will be safe to walk again"
The costume for Schlock himself isn't even bad, basic…
