    “Is your war finally over”

Bar none the most emotional entry in the series. While others have moments this one is emotionally charged its entire runtime. I’ve heard others in the fan base say it’s as close as we’ll ever get to a Spielberg directed Godzilla film. And it’s helped by having all around one of the best casts, both main and supporting, in the series. We’ve had good characters before, like the ‘54 cast, Glenn and Fuji from Astro…

    The Pied Piper

A stop motion retelling of the Pied Piper story from Czechoslovakia. The art style is heavily inspired by the german expressionist movement of the 1920s (think Caligari), and in lieu of proper dialogue everyone talks in banjo kazooie onomatopoeia. If you were a fan of Mad God this is for you, though not quite as horror focused. Still very dark though, the humans looking like old wooden puppets and the rats depicted as realistically as possible and also giant.

While not a Creepshow movie in name, it's the same creative team, and the TV series this movie is based on exists because they wanted to do a Creepshow series but WB had the rights. So for all intents and purposes the Tales From The Darkside Movie is the third Creepshow film, just not in name.

It's good. Not as fun or colorful as Creepshow 1, but good. Steve Buscemi brings a mummy back to life. That's gotta count for something.
There's some really cool camera work, and good effects. The ending to the cat segment, god damn. That was something.

oh, so THAT's the context for Holding Out For A Hero. Hilarious. (if you make a shrek 2 joke in the comments you are an NPC)

for all my hometown/city's faults, I'm at least glad I did not grow up in a bum-ass Midwest farm town with nothing to do. At least I'm an hour away from Philly and Hershey Park. At least we had a blockbuster and movie theaters. We did not have to resort to having chicken races…
