Love Linklater, and really dig his style. This one came outta nowhere. Didn’t even know it existed until recently. 

This is definitely a Dazed and Confused revamp, but you will never hear me complain. Would’ve been huge with a few more quotable lines and a wild card like mcconaughey.

This one tries pretty hard to be a midnight movie. It’s fun, but basically just a parody of a genre and the jokes are a little too on the nose. That being said, well worth a watch.

Not the most engaging thing in the world, but it takes up some time and is pretty mildly interesting. Has an old school Unsolved Mysteries feel to it.

This is a fantastic movie!  I’ve been trying to keep up with Lakeith Stanfield since Sorry to Bother You, so a movie with him and Daniel Kaluuya is a no brainer. This feels like It was directed by Scorsese. It feels like a crime movie, but the allegory to slavery in the Wild Bill tale is thick too. Shaka King set this movie up perfectly to appeal to a mass audience and tell a necessary tale while he has their attention. I suspect we will continue to hear about this movie during awards season, whenever the fuck we will have that again.
