    Hacksaw Ridge

WOW! From all the films of last year that I've seen so far, this has to be my top favorite. Mel Gibson is back in full form. I never knew about Desmond Doss, so it was a mega bonus to witness his bravery and courage. I can't even imagine how he managed to pull it off.

Doesn't hold back when it comes to the war scenes; gory, brutal, and hellish, just like how real war is.

Watched it two times before I could fully appreciate it.

One of my favorite films from 2016. An alien related sci-fi drama that feels really fresh. Gorgeous to look at as it is beautifully directed. And has a very intriguing plot that really got to me.

Just don't go in thinking it is an alien invasion type movie with action etc if the trailers somehow made you feel that way because you'll be sorely disappointed.

It is very apparent from the name that the story is based on Noah. But if you go in watching this movie religiously or something similar, you will surely be disappointed. The immense amount of hate this movie got was mostly from extreme religious people or atheists from what I have seen. Regardless,…
