We can all agree that this is the funniest movie of the year, right?
Watching Logan Lucky, the lackluster return to the movie theater for Steven Soderbergh, who "retired" a couple years back, I couldn't help but think of the moronic charisma of characters created by Joel and Ethan Coen, most notably those in Raising Arizona. These thoughts also serve to illustrate just how wrong this production was in casting an array of actors who can't seem to get on the same page with their total bullshit "Southern" accents.

Taylor Sheridan can do any wrong as a screenwriter. That's a clear fact at this point. Dude's 3-for-3 in 3 straight years.
As a director making a debut (at least one from his own script), he has done all right. He has assembled a great cast, even down to the smallest roles, and this thing is just downright classic thriller where not a single line nor shot is without narrative design.
