Ben’s review published on Letterboxd:
Love the crackling chemistry of Smith and Lawrence, and Leoni's incredibly overcranked performance, and almost nothing else.
Perhaps the most "music video director is making a movie now" movie of all time. They would lock someone up for stuffing this many weird shots and this burnt orange color grading in an action film now. I was feeling it at first, especially how illegible all the spaces and buildings are, but like most of the movie the style eventually becomes tedious and over stays its welcome.
I just need more breezy back and forth and legible action, not a woefully dumb sitcom life switch plot and certainly not all the weird cop defense shit.
