I see the Goodfellas parallels and I loved the fact that while this is based on a true story, it's all of matter of who's truth you actually believe which makes this film all the more fun to watch.
I get the love that Allison Janney is getting, and she is fine, but the duo of Margot Robbie and Sebastian Stan are really something special. They are the white trash Henry and Karen Hill. Their love is genuine and their hate is brutal, they sold me right away.
Robbie is a frontrunner for me after this one. Who'd of thought that the portrayal of a disgraced Olympic finger skater would have everyone talking and if not for anything she also delivers one of the most truthful scenes/lines I've seen, and she's right, we are all to blame.
