I totally get why people don't like this film. It's a ballsy bait and switch that has, and will leave, a lot of people salty.
Personally, I loved the tension, sense of dread, slow burn, and the ambiguousness of the film in general.
A great combination of "The Road" "The Last of Us" and "The Shining," "It Comes at Night" already has one of my favorite, if not two, of my favorite performances of the year, and while audiences won't score this film too high, I'll take it as this year's "The VVitch." Don't let fans of "The Conjuring," "Annabelle" and any expendable possession film with a Rotten Tomatoes account sway your decision sway your decision to catch this film.
