This re-boot of "The Mummy" lacks all the charm of the 1999 reboot and replaces it with I'm really not sure what.
The characters are wooden, the story is pretty much hollow and it pretty much spins its wheels for nearly two hours.
There are some good ideas and I can see a future in an expanded universe, but I'm just not sure what to think about this film. It's like dangling a T-bone steak in front of a starving person who only gets the drippings, but the main course is just out of reach.
Russell Crowe is probably the lone highlight in a film that probably should have stayed buried.
