I guess my biggest disappointment with this documentary is how little it concentrated on the punk music I know and love and moved right into the pop-punk movement, but I did like the education of learning how punk in the East Bay became a thing. Gilman was the CBGB of the West and its quite the amazing story.
If you're a Green Day fan you'll love how they are essentially lionized as leaders of the punk movement, and for good reason. They turn punk rock mainstream.
