It’s so cool that Ari Aster got millions of dollars to make a movie he wrote in freshman year of college.
I actually enjoyed the nihilistic first hour or so, some good dark comedy, like the Hell World that Aster presents. Aster’s mean and hateful, but it’s a perspective at least and he’s got some wit here. Love Nathan Lane and Amy Ryan. Becomes insanely tedious after that though, both really boring and repetitive but also too loud to fall…
