Y Tu Mamá También

Y Tu Mamá También ★★★★

The gayest bros I’ve ever seen.

You can see Alfonso Cuarón testing out a lot of directing and narrative tricks - particularly his knack for situational awareness - that he’s since perfected, but it’s also its own thing. Definitely feels like a product of a certain time and culture, but it’s engaging nonetheless. Maribel Verdú is magnetic.
