Scott Cole’s review published on Letterboxd:
I’m not exactly sure what happened here but I am happy that I gave this movie a second chance. I was much more entertained and thrilled by this film the second time, and I think my initial pretty meh review didn’t give this film enough credit. Perhaps I was freed of whatever expectations I had and was just able to sit back and enjoy the world Tarantino presented. I also found the ending to strike a more poignant chord than I did initially. DiCaprio is fantastic and deserves serious awards consideration (even though Pitt seems to be getting most of that talk). I guess I need to start watching everything twice; I’m truly shocked by how much I enjoyed this after viewing #2. Weird.
