A very penetrating and deeply resonant document of ball culture in the 1980s, and more importantly, being your authentic self in a world that wants to erase your existence. You don't have to be gay or transgendered to connect to the people whose stories are told in painfully honest detail: their hopes, dreams, desires, sorrows, past lives, and their futures.
