Like all Miyazaki films, it’s just absolutely delightful from beginning to end. The animation is beautiful, the voice acting is incredible, and the world is fleshed out and detailed. I love the little things in this - like Kiki always pushing her dress down when she’s flying. I love the lesson here - that it’s okay to fall in and out of love with things. The way he manages to include such honesty in a magical world is unparalleled - this was about as close to being a 13 year old girl I’ll ever get.
