wim wenders and bruno ganz are a tour de force that never fail to impress me. the intensity that dennis hopper and ganz bring to the screen is like no other. the camerawork, score, and performances all left me completely speechless. once again wenders has crafted something special that i will love forever. i'll never forget the scenes of ripley spread across his bright, red satin sheets and of him crying while laying down on a pool table surrounded by polaroids of himself. these scenes are simple in nature but speaks volumes. i can't even express my thoughts on ganz without overly gushing my love for him.
