Alfonso Cuaron delivers an observational and stunningly naturalistic film that feels like something from another era. It's slow and really takes its time in every regard. Watched this for the first time 3 weeks ago and decided to watch it again because it's been stuck in my head ever since and it was even better on rewatch. It's just such an engaging and entertaining movie with some of the best editing ever. One thing I forgot to mention in my previous review is the amount of incredibly profound monologues Orson Welles delivers. Seriously this movie is genius, Orson Welles is genius and the film to this day is still wholly unique.
