Wrath of Man is an ambitious film, but it doesn’t quite hit the mark. The combination of a revenge thriller and a crime heist is promising but the execution is flawed. Guy Ritchie’s distinct style holds the film together even when the narrative staggers, but ultimately this feels like two different movies packaged into one. In my opinion, the new characters that are established half way through the film should have been introduced earlier, or there should have been more Jason Statham in the second half of the film. Also, I liked seeing Andy Garcia but his scenes easily could’ve been cut and the movie would have been exactly the same.
We were definitely robbed of a close up shot of Post Malone’s brains being blown out 😕
